Payment Deferral

Students who have financial hardship and/ or waiting for the release of the Government Grant/ Loan or Non-means-test Loan Scheme (NLS) should apply for deferred payment of tuition fee.

Research postgraduate students, who would like to have the tuition fee deducted from Postgraduate Studentship (PGS) in installments, are also required to apply for deferred payment.

Application should be submitted to the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office (SFAO) at least 7 working days before the payment deadline. Please note that application submitted AFTER the payment due date would NOT be accepted. Details of Application for Deferred Payment of Tuition Fee are available at SFAO website.

Caution money (applicable to new students) and the compulsory medical insurance (applicable to full-time non-local students) are not deferrable.
